Join us for this salute to the forties themed lunch party for Summer 2018. We will celebrate a dramatic decade which saw many social and political changes.

The sound track for this decade featured many national favourites such as Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields with many other influences from America. We aim to celebrate all that was great about that period, the style and spirit, together with the sentiment and cheer of the music of the era.

Come along and raise your flags and voices as you sing along with our talented entertainers who will recreate some of the favourites of the time. We know how much you enjoy a quiz, see how many questions you get right in our topical brain teaser. Don’t forget your change for the Greatdays Charity Raffle. Our chosen charity for 2018 is Macmillan Cancer Support.

As always there will the opportunity to take part in our best dressed competition. We want to see some forties style, gloves, hats, khaki or lace. Maybe there are even some Land Girls out there! (Dressing up is optional).

So paste on your gravy stockings and come and boogie woogie with us at the Blue Birds and Bugle Boys lunch party 2018.
