‘Yesterday Once More’ is a tribute act celebrating the music of The Carpenters. In a career spanning 14 years, The Carpenters’ unique brand of melodic popular music produced a record breaking run of hit recordings. This made them one of the best selling music artists of all time. Our talented entertainers will recreate the magic of these well loved artists whilst performing some of their best known hits. Enjoy favourites such as; Close to You, Rainy Days and Mondays, We’ve Only Just Begun, Top of the World and many more!
The show will be complemented by a delicious three course dinner followed by an overnight stay at The Park Royal hotel. The next day you can choose to visit the neighbouring cities of Chester or Liverpool.
Sunday 4th September
Arrive at the hotel during the afternoon. Why not take advantage of the hotel’s leisure facilities. This evening, get ready for an evening of Carpenters songs by our talented duo.
Programme:
6.30pm: Three course dinner followed by tea/coffee.
8.00pm: Enjoy the first half of the entertainment.
8.45pm: Interval.
9.15pm: Enjoy the second half of the entertainment.
Monday 5th September
Travel home via Chester or Liverpool
Chester is one of the UK’s most popular city destinations with cobbled streets and quirky lanes to discover. With free time in the city you can explore the cities rich tapestry including the famous Eastgate clock, Roman walls and the 700 year old medieval ‘Rows’.
Alternatively you may wish to spend time in Liverpool, perhaps the Albert Dock area, part of Liverpool’s waterfront UNESCO World Heritage Site. The dock is home to a number of award-winning visitor attractions including the Maritime Museum and Tate Gallery.
